Alchemy Pay integrates new on-ramps for crypto purchases in Europe and the UK
Cryptocurrency payment platform Alchemy Pay is expanding its payment options by introducing new ways to buy crypto in Europe and the United Kingdom. The company has integrated the euro instant solution, Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) Instant, and the U.K. fast money transfer option, Faster Payments, as new deposit options.
Effort to simplify cryptocurrency purchases
The new payment options introduced by Alchemy Pay aim to simplify the process of purchasing cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC). Transfers can now be processed in "seconds to a few minutes," according to the company's announcement on Nov. 29.
Accessible to users in 30 European countries and the U.K.
SEPA Instant and Faster Payments are available to Alchemy Pay customers in 30 European countries and the U.K. after completing Know Your Customer checks. With SEPA Instant, customers can buy up to 5,000 euros ($5,460) in cryptocurrency, while Faster Payments has a transfer limit of up to 5,000 British pounds ($6,320).
Expanding payment network in Europe
The addition of SEPA Instant and Faster Payments to Alchemy Pay's supported local payment channels in Europe further expands the company's payment network. This move allows Alchemy Pay to surpass emerging markets and broaden its influence, according to the announcement.
Continued global expansion
Alchemy Pay currently supports 300 fiat payment channels across 173 countries, primarily in Southeast Asia. The platform is actively expanding its payment services worldwide and recently obtained new licenses in the United States, including the states of Iowa and Arkansas. In February 2023, Alchemy Pay also obtained licenses to operate in markets like Indonesia and Lithuania.
