STEPHEN Colbert’s The Late Show made an announcement on Monday, May 9, 2022, regarding future episodes.
The show already paused taping from April 21 to May 2 when Stephen was officially diagnosed with Covid-19.

On Monday, May 9, 2022, a staff member from The Late Show tweeted, “Stephen is experiencing symptoms consistent with a recurrence of COVID.
“Out of an abundance of caution for his staff, guests, and audience, he will be isolating for a few additional days,” the statement read.
Since Stephen is unable to film new episodes of The Late Show, reruns will be played during his usual time slot.
The April 15 episode starring actor Josh Brolin will be airing as a rerun during this hiatus.
