Nurse who helped save Boris says anti-vaxxers are now begging for the jab

AN intensive care nurse who helped save Boris Johnson’s life says unvaccinated patients are arriving at hospitals begging for the jab.

Nurse Jenny McGee, 37, was singled out by the PM for standing at his bedside for 48 hours when “it could have gone either way”.

The ward sister later quit the NHS and now works on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin treating Covid patients.

She said anti-vaxxers were turning up to hospital there struggling to breathe and wanting the vaccine.

She added: “They’re horribly sick.”
