Nicki Minaj’s anti-vax tweet ‘would be treated differently it came from Trump supporter,’ adviser Jason Miller says

A FORMER Trump advisor has said that Nicki Minaj’s anti-vax tweet would be treated differently if it came from a MAGA supporter.

The 38-year-old singer, of Trinidad, made a baseless claim on Monday about bizarre side effects of the vaccine – including “swollen testicles” – moments after revealing to her millions of followers that she had not been jabbed.

Despite the claims being debunked by scientists across the globe, the tweet still remains online and has not been flagged as misinformation. Trending In The News has contacted Twitter for comment.

President Trump’s former aide, Jason Miller, told Trending In The News that if Minaj were a Trump supporter, it would be a different story.

“Tech don’t know how to treat people who are anti-vax and not Trump supporters,” Miller said.

“If a Trump supporter said ‘hey here’s the side effect’ it would be literally the joke on Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert. They’d be mocking them saying ‘keep this person away from kids he’s too crazy’.

“But since it’s someone who does not identify as a Trump supporter, then they don’t know how to reconcile the woke-ism with Trump hatred.”

Since Trending In The News spoke to Miller, Kimmel has said he wants to interview the friend of Minaj’s cousin and called on viewers to help track him down.

He told viewers on Wednesday night: “This tweet spreads like crazy – everybody’s posting which has to be great news for Nicki’s friend’s cousin. Now he’s famous.”

Minaj said she would let Kimmel interview her cousin’s pal but only for the right price. The rapper also claimed to be his manager.

Miller, who is the CEO of free speech social media site Gettr, said that if anyone else had published the tweet it would have been censored in “two seconds.”

Gettr was created after the 45th president was banned from Twitter and Facebook, following the Capitol insurrection on January 6.

Fellow Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene was also suspended from Twitter after she said the Food and Drug Administration “should not approve the Covid vaccines.”

However, Minaj’s tweet has not yet been deleted, and her account has not been suspended.

Minaj posted on Monday: “My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it and became impotent. His testicles became swollen.

“His friend was just weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it and make sure you’re comfortable with your decision, not bullied.”

‘RIDICULOUS’

Minaj has been accused of peddling “ridiculous” vaccine myths after the tweet went viral.

When asked if the vaccine causes reproductive issues, Dr. Anthony Fauci said the answer is a “resounding no”.

He told CNN: “There’s no evidence that it happens, nor is there any mechanistic reason to imagine that it would happen.”

England’s Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty said people who spread falsehoods about the jab should be “ashamed” of themselves.

When asked about vaccine misinformation, he said: “There are a number of myths that fly around, some of which are just clearly ridiculous, and some of which are clearly designed to just scare. That happens to be one of them. And it’s untrue.

“There are a group of people with strange beliefs and that’s fine, and they make their own choices. People are adults they are allowed to make their own choices.

“But there are also people who go around trying to discourage other people from taking a vaccine which could be life-saving or prevent them from having life-changing injuries to themselves.

‘VACCINE MYTHS’

“And many of those people, I regret to say, I think know that they are peddling untruths, but they still do it. In my view, they should be ashamed.”

The rapper responded to Whitty’s criticism by tweeting: “I love him even tho I guess this was a diss? The accent ugh! Yassss boo!!!”

Minaj has caused a stir recently over her opinions on the Covid vaccine.

She posted on Twitter that she wouldn’t be attending The Met Gala because she has not been vaccinated.

Minaj told her fans: “They want you to get vaccinated for the Met. if I get vaccinated it won’t for the Met.

“It’ll be once I feel I’ve done enough research. I’m working on that now.”

Shocking statistics reveal that one in 500 Americans have died from Covid since the nation’s first reported infection, CNN reports.

It’s reported that 663,913 people have succumbed to the virus, according to John Hopkins University research.

Daily deaths on average have tripled over the past month and the number of daily infections has risen by 30 percent, data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reveal.
