KEIR Starmer is reportedly self-isolating again after a member of his private office staff tested positive for Covid-19.
The Labour leader is said to be well and not showing any symptoms.
His quarantine is expected to last until December 16.
“Keir is well and not showing any symptoms. He will now be working from home,” a spokesman for Sir Keir said.
The 58-year-old previously isolated in September after a member of his family started to show coronavirus symptoms.
Sir Keir and his wife, Victoria, have two children together, an 11-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter.
The politician was last pictured on Thursday, December 3 during a visit to the Portsmouth Gin Distillery in Southsea, Portsmouth.
Sir Keir was shown how gin is made and also how the company has been producing hand sanitiser during the Covid 19 pandemic.
Just last month, Boris Johnson self-isolated after meeting with a Tory MP who later tested positive for coronavirus.
The PM met with a small group of MPs in No10 for around 35 minutes including Lee Anderson, the MP for Ashfield.
The Prime Minister was hospitalised with coronavirus in April and revealed doctors prepared to announce his death as he was admitted to intensive care at St Thomas’ Hospital in London.
He was taken to hospital 10 days after testing positive for Covid-19 and spent three nights in intensive care.
