OUR amazing readers have smashed the 30,000-volunteer target to join Jabs Army.
A total of 32,870 kind-hearted Brits have signed up in just three days — pledging to do shifts at more than 1,500 inoculation centres.
Boxer and Strictly star Nicola Adams said: “It’s incredible to see you have risen to the challenge again.
“Thank you for your enthusiasm and dedication.
“We’re not out of the woods yet but at Woodhouse Medical Practice in Leeds I’ve seen how caring and kind everyone is.”
TV’s Vernon Kay added: “Jabs Army has done it.
“Thanks to each and every person.”
Judge and Sun columnist Rob Rinder told readers: “You are, as ever, the best of all of us.”
BT, Morrisons, British Airways, Paddy Power and Sky TV all urged staff to be volunteers.
The Royal Voluntary Service said it has been “blown away” by the response.
