Harvey Weinstein’s girlfriend Alexandra Vino, 30, visits him in jail for hours after disgraced mogul’s Covid scare

THE girlfriend of convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein visited the former movie mogul in prison after his coronavirus scare, a report said.

Alexandra Vino, 30, spent several hours talking to her 68-year-old boyfriend at Wende Correctional Facility in New York, where Weinstein is more than eight months into his 23-year sentence, the Daily Mail reported.

Vino was seen sitting close to her beau while chatting in a back room meant for prisoners kept in involuntary protective custody, an unnamed source allegedly told the outlet.

“Their visit, like all those in IPC, was filmed. There was a camera on a tripod in the room with them. A correction officer sat by the camera and two more were stationed just outside the door,” the source allegedly said.

The fallen Hollywood giant was reportedly gravely ill with the coronavirus that put him into isolation after it was said his temperature reached a 101-degree fever last month.

Weinstein was later placed under constant camera surveillance to make sure he does not die in custody like Jeffrey Epstein, it was reported.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that correctional officers have been assigned to follow the disgraced movie mogul throughout the prison, which is 360 miles northwest of Vino’s home in New York City.

Weinstein allegedly left his conversation with Vino to use the bathroom “several times” as the two caught up, Daily Mail reported.

“He can still only get about with a walker, just like when he was in court, but the difference between then and now is that he has a lot more color in his cheeks,” the source allegedly said.

The sourced added that Weinstein “didn’t look so deathly ill.”

Vino, who “just looked so happy to see him,” arrived at the prison early on Saturday morning and stayed until visiting time ended at 3pm, the source allegedly told Daily Mail.

“She had to keep away from him, there is no hugging or touching now, and of course, they both had to wear a mask,” the source said.

“But they sat close together, and I am sure if it weren’t for the Covid restrictions they would have been holding hands.”

Weinstein was found guilty of rape and sexual assault in February following a momentous trial sparked by the #MeToo movement.

Earlier this year, Vino visited Weinstein in a New York hospital before he was sentenced to prison – and posted a series of cryptic pictures on her Instagram account showing off a massive ring on her engagement finger.

However, Vino denied the ring had been bought by Weinstein when approached by Trending In The News at the time.
