A video circulated social media showing her vacationing maskless in Miami.
Images have also made their rounds displaying her having drinks with her boyfriend, hugging actor Billy Porter, and waving to bar-goers.
She has since received social media backlash, with journalist Brendon Leslie writing on Twitter: “AOC is STILL lounging it up in Florida, in large crowds and maskless. This time at a Drag Queen bar in Miami. Rules for thee but not for me.”

The statement released by AOC’s office included details of her vaccination status:
“The Congresswoman received her booster shot this Fall, and encourages everyone to get their booster and follow all CDC guidance.”
