The Prime Minister is expected to give more details about the Pfizer Covid vaccine that was approved for use in the UK.
What time is Boris Johnson’s speech tonight?
The press conference is due to start at 5pm on December 2.
As yet it is not known if the Prime Minister will be alone during his announcement or whether he will be joined by Matt Hancock, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, and Sir Patrick Vallance, the UK’s chief scientific adviser.
As with the other press conferences about the coronavirus pandemic it will take place in 10 Downing Street.

Boris Johnson is expected to speak about the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid vaccine that has been approved by British regulators for use in the UK.
He is also due to talk about the tier system that has been introduced in England after the country came out of a month-long national lockdown.
The PM hailed the news about the vaccine approval as “fantastic”.
In a Twitter message he said: “It’s fantastic that the MHRA has formally authorised the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine for Covid-19.
“The vaccine will begin to be made available across the UK from next week.
“It’s the protection of vaccines that will ultimately allow us to reclaim our lives and get the economy moving again.”
Sir Patrick Vallance, the UK’s chief scientific adviser, said the vaccine approval was “very good news”.
“This is a significant step towards tackling Covid-19 and an incredible achievement by all involved,” he said in a statement.
“It will take some time before vaccination is widespread and, for now, we must be very careful to stick with our current measures to keep the virus at bay.”
The UK has bought 40million doses of the Pfizer vaccine, enough for 20m people as the jab needs to be administered twice to be effective.
